Health Clinic
The Cadillac Area Community Health
Clinic is a community based, not-for-profit organization providing
free primary health care services to the under- or uninsured.
In addition to primary care, the Clinic serves as a resource to
link people with ongoing health care and other needed resources
at the lowest possible cost.
Patients of all ages are welcome, and the clinic
staff can help determine if your child is eligible for a state
sponsored health plan, like MI-Child.
The Clinic is open on Wednesday evenings. Patients
may be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis by signing-in between
5 and 6:30 pm. Each patient is screened for eligibility at the
clinic. Patients must meet established income guidelines. Please
bring verification of income (pay stubs, W-2 forms, etc.)
A volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of people
from the community, operates the Clinic. The physicians and nurses
that provide care also volunteer their services, providing care
in the following areas:
- Acute non-emergent illnesses
- Limited
- Chronic care Episodic
- Laboratory tests
- Medications
- X-rays
- Limited referrals to specialists
Patients eligible for care at the Clinic include:
- Homeless
- People with seasonal, low paying, or part time
jobs
- Students with no family support.
- Unemployed
- Working, single-parent families,
- Working, but with no insurance coverage
