Clinical Services
Quality and Convenience
Kalkaska Memorial Health Center (KMHC) has expanded to improve access to quality health care services. More than $22 million in construction has provided an impressive new Outpatient Services wing, a Dialysis Center, and an Assisted Living Center opening in August 2009.
Cardiology, Laboratory, Radiology, and Rehabilitation services at KMHC are networked with Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. Munson Healthcare specialists travel to Kalkaska to provide care in a Rural Health Clinic and perform outpatient procedures in new operating suites – allowing residents to remain close to home for many specialized health care services, including state-of-the-art diagnostic services, such as digital mammography.
Nine physicians at Kalkaska Family Practice, Mancelona Family Practice, and Cedar Run Family Medicine Center, provide convenient primary care, backed by the resources of the KMHC Emergency Department.

KMHC is managed by Munson Healthcare and owned by Kalkaska County’s 12 townships, and has served the region since 1953.
