Rehab Team helps patients define and work toward their goals through
a continuum of care.
The program provides quality, compassionate, and
comprehensive services to the people of northern Michigan, with
the goal of optimizing functional recovery.
Munson Physical Rehabilitation Services, located
in Traverse City, Michigan, provides complete medical rehabilitation
care to persons who have sustained debilitating injuries and illnesses,
including stroke, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries,
amputation, orthopedic disorders, neurological and muscular disorders,
arthritis, back and neck injuries, chronic pain, and multiple
trauma.
Through a team approach, patients receive a continuum
of care that extends beyond the inpatient setting to specialized,
flexible, outpatient programs. The patient's needs are assessed
and a referral is made at the appropriate level within the system.
It is important to remember that early patient participation
in rehabilitation significantly affects recovery.
