The Dialysis Nurse is a Registered Nurse who provides
direct supervision of each dialysis treatment. Each patient is
assigned a Primary Care Nurse, who coordinates individualized
care with the other team members. RN's provide direct supervision
of each dialysis treatment as well as self-care education on all
aspects of dialysis. Many of the nurses are members of the American
Nephrology Nurses Association.
Dialysis Technicians assist the nurse in providing
direct care. They are responsible for starting and ending each
treatment and monitoring before, during, and after each treatment.
Several of the Dialysis Technicians are Certified Clinical Hemodialysis
Technicians.
If you are a Munson Healthcare patient and have a compliment,
concern, or complaint, please contact one of our Patient
Liaisons.
