Behavioral Health Services has developed an
intensive outpatient chemical dependency treatment program for
adults. This eight-week program was designed to provide a participant
the opportunity to maintain a daytime work and family schedule,
while attending quality comprehensive treatment at night.
Treatment
The Intensive Outpatient Evening Program is
highly structured and features individual, group, and family counseling.
Participants must agree to meet the basic program requirements.
The program meets as a group on three evenings
a week, one of which is a family night. Each session is three
hours in length. One evening a week includes family members. In
addition, a personal family session and an individual session
are held weekly.
Goals
We work with participants to stop the progression
of their chemical dependency and help them begin their own personal
recovery program. Participants reach these goals by:
gaining a greater identification and awareness
of alcoholism and chemical dependency.
developing personal insights into the process
and progression of their disease.
understanding the relationship between
their disease and other life problems, including family relationships.
understanding the recovery process and
increasing the motivation for positive change.
establishing a plan for ongoing recovery
after completing the program.
Admission
An individual, family member, or physician
can make referrals to the program. Referrals also come through
the workplace, clergy, the judicial system, and other helping
professionals.
Payment
Program fees and financial arrangements will
be discussed during the admission process. Munson Healthcare accepts
most insurance companies, private payments, and Medicaid. State
funding for the uninsured may be available.
