Heartsaver Class Includes CPR, Use of AED
This course meets requirements for lay rescue personnel
Training on the use of an automated external defibrillator(AED) is important for anyone designated as a lay rescuer.
Munson Regional EMS Education offers Heartsaver CPR with AED for Adults, Children, and Infants from 6 - 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Munson Regional EMS Education, Building A. The course teaches CPR, AED use, relief of choking in adults and children, infant CPR and relief of choking, and use of barrier devices for all ages.
The course is intended for all lay rescuers, such as employees in the workplace, day care employees, babysitters, firefighters, police, airline personnel, security guards, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, and those who may have a need to respond to an emergency.
Cost for the course is $40, and pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, contact Karen Gleason at (231) 935-7841.
