Munson Urgent Care Offers Seasonal Flu Shot Clinic
Vaccine is available for adults; pediatric doses limited to 6 - 35 months

Munson's Urgent Care is offering a seasonal flu shot clinic for adult walk-in patients from 2 - 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the Munson Community Health Center north entrance lobby. Cost is $35, payable by cash or check. Only Medicare Primary Insurance will be billed for the shots.

"We have adult seasonal flu vaccine and a limited supply of pediatric seasonal flu vaccine for ages 6 to 35 months available," said Karen Paulosky, Urgent Care manager.

Flu vaccinations are particularly recommended for members of the public who are at high risk for influenza, including people age 65 and older, people with long-term health problems, people with weakened immune systems, women who will be pregnant in influenza season, and all children older than 6 months of age, Paulosky said.
