Dietitian Offers Grocery Store Tour for Diabetics
Information will help participants learn how to control their disease

People with diabetes know the importance of quality food in their lives.

Munson Medical Center dietitian Patti Hennrick, R.D., C.D.E., will offer participants a new view of grocery aisles and help with healthy eating during a diabetes focused grocery store tour at Tom's Food Market on East Bay from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16.

Participants will learn how to read food labels, select food items, and improve their blood sugar control. They also will learn about carbohydrate counting and meal planning to take control of their diabetes.
